Maine-ly Web Design was founded in 1998 on the spectacular coast of southern Maine. An artisan, former business owner, and stay-at-home mom with a business mind, Linda Chadbourne began studying web design as a new creative venture as well as a means to showcase her Arabian horse breeding business.
Linda designed her own site, Wind In Tail Arabians for her, which led to her first professional projects for other specialty horse breeders in California, Alabama and Missouri.
One thing led to another and pretty soon, small businesses and nonprofit organizations all over the country were seeking Linda's artistic gifts and technical expertise.
Linda's clientele no longer includes only farms, but a wide cross-section of professionals, businesses, artisans, hobbyist, health providers, and non-profit organizations too numerous to name.
As a co-founder of TheWebSqueeze.com a very active community of international web designers, Linda enjoys assisting other designers in learning the latest techniques using web compliant standards and continues to expand her knowledge. In addition to her web work, Linda leads an active life with her family which includes a wonderful husband, two teens and their happy menagerie—which still includes three exquisite horses, two of which Linda has raised and trained. As time permits, she enjoys photography, designing jewelry and gardening. And not often enough, she manages to just sit by the pool and spend time with friends.
